The 1841 Census of Somerset has the family living in the following area:
All that part of the village of Baltonsborough which lies East of the road leading from West Pennard to Barton St David bounded for the East by Cocks Bridge and Southeast by Gibbons.
Peter and the family applied for a free passage to NZ in July 1841.
Their application number was 3424 and were recommended by William ROBERTS of Baltonsborough.
